Dr Mrs Vera N. Okonoko born on the 22nd March 1972 from Ubulu-Uku in Aniocha South Local Government. She attended Awaeke Primary School, Abraka and finished in 1982, St. Brigid’s Grammar School, Asaba 1989, she attended Delta State University, Abraka and got Diploma in Library Science 1995, B.Sc.(Ed) (Second Class Upper), M.Sc. (Lib. and Information Science), 2005 and Ph.D. (Lib. and Information Science) 2016. She started her Librarianship career in the Institute of Continuing Education (I.C.E) Asaba as the Institute Librarian in 2001, later she joined the defunct College of Education in 2004 as Librarian I, she earned her promotions accordingly until she became College Librarian in 2017. With the upgrade of the defunct College of Education, Agbor to University of Delta, Agbor, she was appointed University Librarian on the 17th August, 2022. She has numerous publications in Local, National and International journals
